Material is at the heart of what I do. I experiment and observe looking for ways to bring about something I couldn't have anticipated. Any emerging work will embody an idea from me while its temperament and guise may reflect attributes intrinsic to the material.

 

Certain characteristics define my work time and again. For example I rebel against stability and solidity, preferring to create objects slightly on edge and no more substantial than they need to be.  Perhaps some part of me wishes to reflect humanity's precariousness and transience.
